Join us on July 30th and 31st at Cowboy’s Casino and assist in operations for the TELUS Spark Science Centre school programs. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a great cause while having fun in a lively environment. No experience is needed, training will be provided! 

This role is for the Countroom Staff. The role will consist of:

Sort & Count: Organize and count cash using a cash counter.Data Entry: Accurately input amounts into the computer system.Attention to Detail: Double-check totals to ensure accuracy.

Important!

1. VOLUNTEERS MUST SHOW UP AT TIMES LISTED, READY TO WORK IMMEDIATELY.

2. VOLUNTEERS CANNOT GAMBLE AT YOUR CASINO LOCATION FOR THE ENTIRE TWO DAYS!

3. VOLUNTEERS SHOULD HAVE VALID PICTURE I.D. FOR CHECK-IN AT CASHCAGE.

4. IF THE EVENING OR COUNTROOM SHIFT VOLUNTEERS WANT TO EAT BEFORE THEIR SHIFT,  THEY MUST ARRIVE AT LEAST ONE HOUR BEFORE TIMES POSTED!

5. VOLUNTEERS CANNOT CONSUME ALCOHOL DURING THEIR SHIFT.

Watching cashier payouts. Supervision: Oversees the cashiers and chip runners within the cage.Managing volunteers and answering any inquiries about positions.Reporting: Enters the final financial figures into the casino tracking system

2. VOLUNTEERS CANNOT GAMBLE AT YOUR CASINO LOCATION FOR THE ENTIRE TWO DAYS!

3. VOLUNTEERS SHOULD HAVE VALID PICTURE I.D. FOR CHECK-IN AT CASHCAGE.

Chip Transactions: Exchange cash or vouchers for chips and vice versa. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of transactions. Chip Handling: Ensure chips are counted correctly before and after each exchange.  Security & Compliance: Follow all casino rules and procedures to ensure transactions are secure and properly documented.

Join us on July 30th and 31st at the Cowboys Casino and assist in operations for the TELUS Spark Science Centre school programs. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a great cause while having fun in a lively environment. No experience is needed—training will be provided! 

This role is for the Chip Runner. The role will consist of:

Transport Chips: Deliver chips from the Banker to gaming tables as requested.Record Keeping: Help track starting and closing chip inventories for each table. Attention to Detail: Ensure chip counts are accurate and documented properly.
