To register for this shift Coding Experience is Required.
We need a minimum commitment from out volunteers to make this a mutually beneficial relationship, and we prefer consistency. We need at minimum 6-7 shifts (minimum 1 per week) over the course of our 8 weeks of camp, preferably on the same day. This can be a half or full day shift. Obviously, more than that is welcome and encouraged but that is our minimum

Required skills, experience, and/or equipment: |
Coding experience is require. Code Quest works with Bloxel, Microsoft MakeCode and Block Coding for each camper to build a video game and video game character. Experience with these programs is an asset. Supporting Campers in problem solving and debugging their coding programs. Enthusiasm, Passion or Interest in STEAM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, Art and Math) Subjects |

Potential risks/health and safety concerns: |
This is a high-energy position that requires staff and volunteers to
be on their feet for the majority of the shift. Very few tasks involve
sitting for long periods so volunteers will need to be able to move about the
building, and move materials about the building for the majority of their
time with us. |
