FOR SUMMER CAMP VOLUNTEERS - Must have signed up for shifts in summer camps happening from June 30 - August 29 to attend these trainings. These are NOT MANDATORY, but recommended!
SUMMER CAMPS 2025 - TRAINING
To excel and enhance your professional and personal skills, we offer the following training, which you are free to schedule and attend:
CAMP LEADER TRAINING (AVAILABLE FOR ALL CAMP VOLUNTEERS):
- June 16th - June 27th, 8:30AM - 4:30PM, not including weekends
- Shifts are listed for the full day, however, come for as long as you’d like!
EXTERNAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING:
- CSA & Disclosure Training (if you attended this last year, no need to repeat the training!) - June 24th
- Paws, Claws, and Stars with Alexis- June 25th
- Land Acknowledgment Workshop with Alex - June 25th
- Why We Need Pride with The Queer Education Foundation - June 26th
All volunteers will get on-the-job training, on their first shift, before they start so that they are full equipped to volunteer in camps.
